The developer of Ardee City, have been booked for violation of the terms and conditions of the project licence issued by the department of town and country planning (DTCP) for the residential society.
The developer has also been accused of fraudulently showing a portion of land owned by the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) as part of the township at the time of seeking the licence.
The move comes after DTCP wrote to the DTCP director seeking action against the developer, Gopal Dass Estates & Housing, on Monday. The builder and its associate companies together had got a licence for the development of its flagship properties — Ardee City and Palm Grove Heights — across 204.4 acres of land in sectors 51-52 and 57. Around 2,850 families are currently living there.
