The Greater Mohali Area development Authority (Gmada) is all set to launch second phase of Purab Premium Apartments project with allotment of 550 apartments. The Gmada authorities stated that around a month’s time had been given for submitting applications as the scheme opens on June 30 and will close on July 31.
Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Gmada chief administrator, said the authority was offering total 550 apartments, including 130 type-I apartments (one BHK) priced at Rs 54 lakh, 200 type-II (2-BHK) of price Rs 80 lakh and 220 type-III (3-BHK) apartments at Rs 1.01 crore.
The apartments being offered are ready to move and possession to the allottees would be given only on payment of 25% of the total price. All apartments in the project are north-east facing and both side open, thus, the occupants will enjoy cross ventilation and natural light throughout the day. Purab Premium Apartments project has come up on sprawling 37 acres and is centrally located and easily accessible from the international airport, district administrative complex and renowned educational and health institutes.
Gupta said, “This is an already inhabited project as more than 650 families are residing here and enjoying the facilities being offered like earthquake-resistant construction, electricity back-up, 24-hour water supply with recreational facilities like yoga and meditation hall and sports facilities like lawn tennis court, skating rink, badminton court, basket ball court, volley ball court, all weather swimming pool and many more have also been provisioned in the project.”
Leading banks have been associated in the scheme for sale of scheme brochures as well as acceptance of application forms. The brochures could also be purchased from single window service counter in PUDA Bhawan, Sector 62, Mohali, said Gupta.
Notably in 2017, Gmada had constructed 1,620 premium apartments of three types (Type-I, Type-II and Type -III) in Sector 88. Out of 1,620 units, 954 have already been allotted of which 590 have taken possession of their units, while rest have either surrendered or are unsold. The project has 27 towers of 60 flats each. There are around 700 flats lying vacant in Purab Premium Apartments that are ready to move, out of which applications are being invited for 550 flats.
