RHB increases reserve price of plots after three years

The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has increased the reserve price of its plots across the state after a gap of three years.

An official said, “The last reserve price was increased in 2019. After the real estate industry was hit by pandemic, the reserve price of land was not increased. Last year, proposals were sought from all the engineers to increase the reserve price, but later after analysing the market situation, the decision was kept on hold.” As per the record, the board has increased the prices between 8.51% and 66%. The maximum increase has been done in Mansarovar scheme of Jaipur. Till 2019, the residential reserve price in the scheme was Rs 15,815 per square metre which was increased by 66% to Rs 26,180 per square metre.

The RHB officials claimed that after the multi-crore infrastructure projects and facilities, including City Park worth Rs 10 crore, commercial mall will be developed in the area. Apart from Mansarovar in Jaipur, the reserve price has been increased by 29% in Pratap Nagar Sanganer and in Indira Gandhi Nagar. In Jagatpura, the price of the land is increased by 32%.

The other big cities in the state have witnessed a marginal increase. The residential reserve rate of Kudi Bhagtasani phase 1 and 2 in Jodhpur, Govardhan Vilas (Jodhpur) and Savina Kheda in Udaipur has been increased by 8.51%.

The board has increased the reserve price of Kunhadi Yojna of Education City Kota by 35%. A RHB official said, “The residents in recent past have started showing interest keen purchasing middle income group (MIG) and (HIG) flats. Even the reserve price is increased, its comparatively lesser than private players.”
