The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) has released a tender for the construction of a two-lane road with paved shoulders along the current intermediate lane of NH-137G in Assam.
The segment commences from Village Pailapool at Design Chainage 0+00 (Ch. 20.800 of Silchar-Jiribam Pkg-I, NH-37) and extends to Village P. Songkai at Design Chainage 58+342 (Ch. 106+830 of the Tamenglong-Mahur section of NH-137), covering a total distance of 58.342 km. The projected cost is Rs 798.93 crore.
This initiative is part of the NH(O)-NE project under the hybrid annuity model (HAM). The objective of the project is to improve road infrastructure in the area, thereby enhancing connectivity and fostering local development. Bidders must submit their proposals by the deadline of 26 March, 2026.
