The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has extended its tax relief scheme for the current financial year till August 31.
The property tax department of PCMC has appealed to citizens to pay tax before the extended last date to avail benefits of the relief scheme. There are 5,51,071 properties under the twin towns civic body.
This includes residential as well as commercial and industrial use properties.
Property tax can be paid either in the first half of the financial year, from April to September, or in the second half, between October and March.
The general tax exemption was earlier announced for property owners who paid their full bills in advance by June 30. Due to the pandemic, the concession scheme was extended till July 31.
