The Mumbai Housing and Area Development Board, which operates as a regional division of the Maharashtra Housing And Area Development Authority(MHADA), has once again called for online tenders for 16 amenity plots.
The previous invitation for bids concerning the amenity plots situated in the Mhada layouts at Malad-Malvani, Unnat Nagar in Goregaon, Charkop in Kandivli, Tagore Nagar and Kannamwar Nagar in Vikhroli, Gorai, Akurli, Vinoba Bhave Nagar in Kurla, and Mulund (East) received no responses.
The sizes of the plots vary from 32 square meters to 7,160 square meters. Out of the 21 plots available, six are located in Malad-Malvani and are designated for schools, colleges, hospitals, and playgrounds.
The plot in Unnat Nagar is allocated for a school; two plots in Charkop are set aside for a retail market and amenity purposes. The plot in Vinoba Bhave Nagar is intended for a social welfare center, while the plot in Mulund (East) is designated for shopping.
The plot in Kannamwar Nagar is reserved for a multipurpose community center, and in Tagore Nagar, one plot is allocated for residential use while another is for a primary and secondary school. In Gorai and Akurli, two plots each are designated as amenity plots. According to a press release, bids may be submitted from December 12 to January 16 via mahatenders.gov.in.
