MBT Construction Chemicals, a leading provider  of advanced construction solutions and part of the Master Builders Solutions Group, proudly  announces the inauguration of its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Taloja, Navi  Mumbai, India. The facility was officially inaugurated by Dr. Boris Gorella, CEO and Chairman of  the Board of Management at Master Builders Solutions, accompanied by Dr. Karsten Eller, COO, and Himanshu Kapadia, Cluster Head Asia, Middle East & Turkey.

The plant has a production capacity of 25,000 metric tons in a single shift per annum and a storage  capacity of 300 tons, enabling MBT Construction Chemicals to efficiently meet the growing  demands of the Indian construction market. It produces a comprehensive range of high performance construction chemicals, including admixtures, waterproofing solutions, grouts,  flooring systems, repair mortars, and protective coatings.

Spread over an area of 4,000 square metres, the automated plant incorporates advanced  technologies, including a 200 TR (ton refrigeration) cooling tower system for enhanced energy  efficiency and process stability. It meets the highest operational standards, reflecting MBT  Construction Chemicals’ commitment to innovation, workplace safety, and environmental  responsibility.

In addition to its advanced manufacturing infrastructure, the facility hosts a dedicated Research &  Development (R&D) Centre, equipped with the latest laboratories and testing capabilities. This  R&D hub will focus on developing innovative construction solutions tailored to local market needs,  while also supporting regional product customisation and performance optimisation. This  underscores MBT Construction Chemicals’ commitment to technological advancement, customer  collaboration, and sustainability-driven innovation in India and beyond.

“This investment marks a significant milestone in our expansion journey,” said Dr. Boris Gorella. “It  reinforces our long-term commitment to the region and to delivering innovative, high performance solutions that meet the rapid growth and infrastructure needs of the Indian  construction industry.”

Dr. Karsten Eller further added: “With this plant, we are expanding our local manufacturing  capabilities, improving our ability to operate more efficiently and closer to our customers. This  allows us to reduce lead times, increase responsiveness, and adapt more quickly to project-specific  needs across India. We have incorporated the latest standards in manufacturing construction  chemicals in Taloja.”

Himanshu Kapadia highlighted: “We look forward to strengthening our partnerships with Indian  builders and contractors by offering locally manufactured, innovative solutions that promote  sustainable building practices across the construction sector.”

Located strategically in Navi Mumbai, the facility will reinforce MBT Construction Chemicals’  leadership in India’s fast-evolving construction landscape.
