The Lucknow Development Authority(LDA) announced on Friday that it has extended the special Diwali discount offer on ready-to-move flats until November 6. To date, 589 flats have been booked during this festive season, while there are still 1,100 ready-to-move flats available for potential buyers.
Under this offer, purchasers can benefit from a direct discount ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh, in addition to previously available incentives. LDA Vice-Chairman Pratimesh Kumar stated, “The ready-to-move flats are being sold on a ‘First Come-First Serve’ basis. A significant discount offer was launched during the festive season from September 22 to October 22.
Flats priced between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 50 lakh receive a discount of Rs 1 lakh, those priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 75 lakh receive Rs 1.5 lakh off, and flats exceeding Rs 75 lakh are eligible for a discount of Rs 2 lakh.” Additional discounts of 3–6% are available if full payment is made within 45–90 days. The flats vary in size from 500 to 1,900 sq ft, including options for 1BHK, 2BHK, and 3BHK, with prices ranging from Rs 22 lakh to Rs 1.08 crore.
Government employees can take possession by paying 25% of the total cost, while general buyers can do so by paying 35%, as per the hire-purchase agreement. Furthermore, buyers have the option to purchase multiple flats in most multi-storey residential schemes.
The LDA Vice-Chairman mentioned that flats ranging from 500 sq ft to 1,900 sq ft, including 1BHK, 2BHK, and 3BHK options, are available across various LDA schemes located in Gomtinagar, Janakipuram, Priyadarshini (Sitapur Road), Aliganj, Kanpur Road, Devpur Para, and Sharda Nagar.
LDA Additional Secretary CP Tripathi reported that the Devpur Para scheme recorded the highest number of bookings with 382 flats, followed by Sopan Enclave-2 in the Priyadarshini Scheme with 56 flats, Ashlesha Apartments with 18 flats, and Rashmi Lok Apartments with 15 flats.
