In a recent update, the government announced major strides in key sectors to boost economic growth. The Ministry of Textiles has successfully mapped eight PM Mitra Parks on the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan (NMP) portal. This strategic move is expected to enhance project implementation efficiency.
At the 61st Network Planning Group meeting, the pharmaceuticals department reported the completion of 129 pharma clusters and 23 medical device cluster projects. The animal husbandry and dairying department also mapped all training institutes across India.
During the meeting chaired by Sumita Dawra, Special Secretary (Logistics), Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), the Ministries of Railways and Road Transport presented details on commissioned and ongoing projects, emphasizing critical infrastructure. The status of mapping economic zones and 100 identified critical infrastructure projects at the NMP platform was reviewed.
