PM Modi to open 4 NHAI projects in Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating ready works of four highway projects of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) during his proposed Varanasi visit on February 23.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating ready works of four highway projects of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) during his proposed Varanasi visit on February 23.

As per the list, out of 23 projects worth Rs 10972 crores, four are NHAI projects worth Rs 9,507 crores.

The list of NHAI projects ready for inauguration are Package-I of 4-laning of Sultanpur-Varanasi Section of NH-56 worth Rs 2935 crores, Package-2 of 4-laning of Azamgarh-Varanasi Section of NH-233 worth Rs 3191 crores, 6-laning of works up to Karmnash bridge in Varanasi-Aurangabad Section of NH-19 worth Rs 2143 crores and Package-I of 4- laning of Varanasi – Hanumana (UP/MP border) section of NH-7 worth Rs 1248 crores.
