Brigade Enterprises has acquired 6.54 acres of land parcel located at Rajiv Gandhi Salai (Old Mahabalipuram Road), Sholinganallur, Chennai from Pfizer Healthcare India for an overall consideration of Rs. 138.83 crore, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company plans to develop a residential project on this land parcel with an overall development of over one million sq ft.
The company had reported a dip of 66.14 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2023. Its profit after tax stood at Rs 21.89 crore in Q1 FY24 as against Rs 64.65 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.
Its net consolidated total income stood at Rs 685.43 crore in Q1 FY24, a dip of 25.52 per cent from Rs 920.28 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.
