From Wednesday, applications for property valuation will be accepted only in the online format. People can now submit their applications through the integrated Revenue Case Management System (iRCMS) portal.
A statement by the office of the Superintendent of Stamps and Registration Inspector said all property valuation applications would be processed in 10 days on the new digitized system.
All instruments presented before any sub-registrar office must be made online per the new procedure, which will come into force from Wednesday. A specimen of the application has been made available on ircms(dot)gujarat(dot)gov(dot)in.
The sub-registrar’s office must accept or reject the application in two days. If the application is denied, the sub-registrar’s office must give a valid reason and issue a challan for any fees.
Based on the application, the office must determine the stamp duty, and the sub-registrar’s office will complete this procedure online.
