Oriana Power Limited has successfully obtained a substantial EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract from a client in the cement industry for a 75 MW Solar Power Plant, which includes Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a capacity of approximately 111.57 MWh, located in Rajasthan.
The overall value of this domestic project is around Rs 476.13 crore, inclusive of GST. The company is anticipated to finalize the design, engineering, supply, construction, installation, and commissioning of the project within eight months from the date of the order and the receipt of the advance payment.
Previously, the company successfully participated in a bid for the complete 60,000 metric tonnes per annum (MT/Year) Green Ammonia capacity during an e-reverse auction conducted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). This capacity, secured at Rs 52.25 per Kg, will be delivered to Madhya Bharat Agro Products Limited in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, further solidifying Oriana Power’s dedication to India’s clean energy objectives through the production of green hydrogen and ammonia.
