The Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) has decided to accept property tax under the self-assessment system (SAS) through post offices and Mangalore One centres.
Citizens may pay the property tax as per SAS, at post offices and Mangalore One centres from Monday, said MCC commissioner Akshy Sridhar.
“We have introduced the online property tax payment facility from November 2021. Citizens may use net banking, UPI, debit/credit cards to pay online. It will allow citizens to pay property tax at post offices and Mangalore One centres in the city,” he added.
