Jindal Stainless, India’s stainless steel manufacturer has appointed Sanjay Mishra as its new Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO). He will be in charge of leading strategic digitalization and transformation projects at Jindal Stainless with the goal of transforming the company into a digital powerhouse.
“As our new CDIO, Mr Mishra will help us envision a future where we are heralded as the flag bearers of technological innovation in the industry. I am certain that his contributions will boost our efficiency, ensure company-wide data integrity and safeguard our valuable assets,” Abhyuday Jindal, Managing Director, Jindal Stainless said.
Mr. Mishra has almost thirty years of experience in information technology and digital media. Before coming to Jindal Stainless, Mr. Mishra held positions with well-known international companies like IBM, GE, and L&T. Throughout his employment, he was instrumental in driving the creation of essential commerce products, supervising the deployment of ERPs for international clients, and directing the creation of one of the biggest in-house ERP and analytics platforms. He received his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from KNIT Sultanpur and his M.Tech in Industrial Management from IIT Kanpur., according to a release.

The company has annual revenue of Rs 38,562 crore, and it is expanding its facilities to produce 4.2 million tonnes of melt annually. It has a global network spanning 15 countries with seven production and processing facilities for stainless steel, both in India and elsewhere, such as Spain and Indonesia.
