JCB India launches CEV Stage IV compliant Wheeled CE vehicles

JCB India, a leading manufacturer of construction equipment vehicles in India, has launched a brand new CEV Stage IV compliant construction machinery vehicle with wheels

JCB India, a leading manufacturer of construction equipment vehicles in India, has launched a brand new CEV Stage IV compliant construction machinery vehicle with wheels.

The company claims that this launch will be the first company in the industry to introduce CEV Stage IV emission standards across its wheel machine range.

The new range includes 3DX Plus and 4DX backhoe loaders, VM117 Soil Compactor, and 530-70 and 530-110 telehandlers with engines that comply with the new emission standards. For bulk handling, three new wheel loaders, 433-4, 437-4, and 455-4, have also been launched with new engines.

Deepak Shetty, CEO and MD of JCB India, said: We welcome the introduction of CEV Stage IV emission standards for wheeled construction machinery vehicles. This new scope is our strong commitment to the environment and sustainability. Not only are these machines low in emissions, but they are also fuel efficient, reducing the total cost of ownership of the equipment. “

The new series comes with JCB Livelink, JCB’s advanced telematics technology. It provides real-time updates on machine performance, behavior, and health parameters, as well as machine location. The vehicle can be geo-fenced or time-fenced and can be located via GPS. According to the company, about 180,000 LiveLink-compatible JCB machines have been sold so far.

In addition, JCB’s Intelli-Diagnostic technology helps with accurate fault detection via a digital interface. In addition, genuine parts can be ordered online from the JCB Parts Mobile application.

“For infrastructure projects that require 24-hour operation, we recognize the importance of keeping our customers in touch with the fleet. JCB Livelink has made it possible. Integrate digital technology into our products. With the investment in, the experience of owning JCB products has truly become world-class, which will increase in the future, “Shetty added.

The launch event was held at JCB India’s state-of-the-art factory in Jaipur, which began operations in 2014. The plant is also JCB’s youngest manufacturing facility in India, producing backhoe loaders, mini excavators, skid steers, telehandlers and new access. The range of the machine.

Shetty added, “Many of the products launched today will be manufactured at JCB Jaipur. We have created a diverse, young and vibrant manufacturing facility where all duties are gender-neutral. We are proud to have done so. Today, almost 35% of the workforce on the manufacturing floor is made up of women, and the machines manufactured in Jaipur are exported to more than 55 countries. With zero discharge and full use of solar power, it is built around a strong sustainability model. ”

According to JCB India, the transition from BS (III) to CEV Stage IV emission standards required significant gradual changes in technology and continued to invest despite the pandemic. Over the past few months, the company has implemented a variety of programs to develop skills across its product support network to ensure that it provides customer support. The machine is designed in India with the needs of Indian customers in mind. They have been tested and validated nationwide for nearly 100,000 hours.

The new backhoe loader series includes the new 3DX Plus, 3DX Super, 3DX Xtra, and 4DX to meet the needs of different applications and comes with 30 innovative features. The new 3D Xplus is said to improve fuel efficiency by 7%, drilling power by up to 8% and improved performance. In plus mode, the machine is 25% more productive on the excavator side than in economy mode. With 15% lower maintenance costs, this machine offers an excellent return on investment. On the other hand, the 4DX backhoe loader is 12% more fuel efficient and comes standard with Smooth Ride System (SRS), AMT, and servo control on the excavator side.

Of the three wheel loader excavators introduced, the 433-4 comes with a JCB ecoMax 444 engine and ZF axle and transmission. With up to 8% improved output and up to 10% enhanced fuel efficiency, the new machine requires less maintenance and comes with a 15% larger cabin.

The larger 437-4 is equipped with a JCB448 Ecomax engine and a ZF German WG130 transmission. The new model is up to 10% more fuel efficient than the previous model, has a larger cabin for operator comfort and lower maintenance costs.

The 455-4 is also equipped with a Cummins engine, ZF German axle, and WG190 transmission. With up to 5% power increase and up to 10% fuel efficiency gain in power mode, this machine is designed to work in the most difficult applications.

JCB also announced the new VM117 Soil Compactor with a 55 kW JCB ecoMax 444 engine. No engine post-processing is required. Compared to previous models, this machine is said to be up to 10% more fuel efficient. High productivity, reliability, and operator comfort make it suitable for compression needs.

Two new side engine telehandlers, 530–70 and 530–110, have also been introduced. Both machines are powered by the JCB ecoMax 444 engine. The narrow chassis and standard four-wheel drive provide improved traction, making these machines ideal for material handling requirements. By turning the engine sideways, the operator’s field of view is widened and safety is improved. Lower NVH levels and air-conditioned cabs ensure operator comfort.
