Gujarat RERA sets February 21 as new QPR deadline

Sources said that nearly 70% of the developers have completed the migration process and the issues pertaining to the new portal will be sorted out soon.

Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority (GujRERA) has extended the deadline to submit Quarterly Progress Report (QPR) to Feb 21 for the Dec 2023 quarter after developers complained about issues faced in migrating from the old portal to the new RERA 2.0 portal. Sources said that nearly 70% of the developers have completed the migration process and the issues pertaining to the new portal will be sorted out soon.

Sources said Rera 2.0 ensures better compliance but there have been some issues in moving the registered projects from the older portal. Sources said, “The new portal requires promoter enrolment which was not compulsory on the earlier portal.

A developer cannot submit a QPR with details about finances, new bookings and project construction progress etc., without enrolling the promoter on the new portal. Many developers were not aware of the change and could not complete their migration process. Also, the new portal has technical issues. Till now 5,000 of the 7,500 developers have been enrolled.”
