Chemtech Industrial Valves (CIVL) has reached a significant milestone by successfully producing and supplying DN 3000 MM double offset butterfly valves to a prominent integrated steel plant located in Gujarat.
These valves, designed for flare stack isolation within the blast furnace unit, showcase CIVL’s proficiency in high-performance isolation solutions for large-diameter applications in demanding industrial environments. Each valve has a weight of nearly 12 tonnes, representing an impressive engineering feat in terms of design, fabrication, and quality assurance.
Due to the critical nature of such isolation applications, only a limited number of global manufacturers have the technical capability to provide these solutions. CIVL won this esteemed order while competing against well-known multinational valve manufacturers, thereby reinforcing its global competitiveness and technical prowess.
The company remarked, “This accomplishment not only illustrates CIVL’s capacity to deliver world-class, tailored valve solutions but also opens doors for future prospects in the Steel, Petrochemical, Power, and Refinery sectors.” Established in 1997 and based in Mumbai, CIVL specializes in large-diameter gas line valves and operates a cutting-edge facility in Wada, near Mumbai.
