More than 700 flats were reserved under the two residential schemes of the Delhi Development Authority(DDA) in the Narela area within just two days of their launch, as reported by officials on Friday.
The ‘DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana’ 2025 provides flats specifically for retired government employees. Recently, the DDA made an additional 936 flats available in Pocket 6, Sector A1-A4, Narela. “The booking process began on March 26, coinciding with the celebration of Ram Navami, and received a remarkable response, with over 400 flats booked in merely two days,” stated an official announcement.
In a similar vein, the ‘DDA Nagrik Awaas Yojana’ 2026 has made available a total of 1,944 low-income group (LIG) flats in Sector G7/G8, Narela, with over 300 of these flats already sold, indicating a consistent demand from the general populace, the announcement further noted.
“Under the leadership of Lt Governor Delhi Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the DDA has experienced a robust and positive response to its housing initiatives in Narela, reinforcing the growing public trust in the area’s development as a modern sub-city of Delhi,” the announcement continued. The success of these initiatives underscores the rising appeal of Narela as a favored residential location, the DDA concluded.
