The Noida Authority on Tuesday e-auctioned four duplex villas, out of which three were e-auctioned at a higher amount than the Rs 1.79 crore base price. One of the villas was sold for Rs 2.08 crore, officials said.
During the auctions, four units were auctioned, of which the HD-223 unit in Sector 135 with a reserve price of Rs 1.79 crore was auctioned for Rs 2.08 crore. Officials said the unit was sold with a hike of Rs 29.50 lakh, which is 16.45% higher than the reserve price.
Another duplex unit in Sector 135 was auctioned at Rs 1.92 crore with a hike of Rs 13 lakh, which is 7.25% than the reserve price.
One of the units in Sector 62 with a reserve price of Rs 66.44 lakh was also sold without any increase.
The residential houses department of the Noida Authority launched the LIG, MIG and HIG duplex house schemes in January 2023. A total of 338 duplex apartments in sectors 52,62,71,99,118 and 135 will be auctioned by Noida. Out of these, 314 units are LIG and the remaining are MIG and HIG.
Officials said during the auctions, they received 10 applications for three units. The auctions for the remaining houses will be held soon.
During the auction, a revenue of Rs 6.47 crore was collected.
