Nayanthara and her spouse Vignesh Shivan have purchased a duplex apartment in the Legacy project located in Poes Garden, Chennai, for a sum of Rs 31.5 crore. As per information from Zapkey, the property was acquired from Landmark Metro Projects.
The transaction was valued at Rs 21,946 per square foot. Nayanthara possesses 90% ownership, while Vignesh Shivan holds the remaining share. “The unit on the 4th and 5th floors, numbered 401, encompasses a super built-up area of 14,369 square feet and includes an undivided land share of 5,308 square feet. It is equipped with eight covered parking spaces.
The market value is recorded at Rs 40 crore, which incurs a 7% stamp duty amounting to Rs 2.8 crore,” it stated. The acquisition follows Nayanthara’s involvement in pan-India films. She and Vignesh Shivan were married in 2022 and are parents to twins.
