Larsen & Toubro’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) division has obtained substantial contracts in India, which include a major IT park project in Bengaluru and a mixed-use development in Mumbai.
The Bengaluru IT park covers an area of 5.9 million square feet and will be executed in two phases on a lumpsum turnkey basis. This project comprises six 14-storey towers featuring A-grade office spaces that are designed to achieve USGBC New Building Platinum LEED certification for sustainability.
The project scope includes civil works, unitised façade glazing, architectural lighting, electromechanical services such as HVAC, electrical systems, elevators, GIS substation, solar PV, and extensive landscaping.
On the other hand, the Mumbai project entails the construction of a mixed-use development with a completion timeline of 45 months. These achievements underscore L&T’s proficiency in handling intricate, large-scale projects while adhering to strict deadlines, thereby reinforcing its position as a leader in India’s infrastructure and commercial building industries.
