The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is scheduled to propose a seven-kilometer road on December 5, 2025, which will link the Green Corridor project near IIM Road to the Outer Ring Road, also known as Kisan Path.

This new route is designed to offer commuters a quicker, more efficient passage and enhance access to forthcoming township developments, especially in Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT). According to officials, the road will shorten travel times, alleviate congestion on internal routes, and facilitate the growth of the Naimish Nagar township.

The second phase of the project will further extend the corridor by an additional three kilometers, directly connecting it to the Naimish Nagar scheme. This extension is intended to enhance transportation from northern regions to expanding suburban areas without overloading inner-city roads.

Residents in areas such as Vasant Kunj will experience improved access to Kisan Path, allowing them to avoid congested internal routes. This initiative is part of the broader Green Corridor project, which aims to establish a signal-free North–South route.
