Info-x Software Technology Pvt Ltd, through its director Rishi Parti, has bought a 16,000 sq ft penthouse at DLF’s ultra-luxury The Camellias in Gurugram for ₹190 crore in one of the costliest apartment transactions in the country.
The deal was registered on December 2, and the company paid ₹13 crore stamp duty for the transaction, showed documents accessed through CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm.
The latest deal at Camellias was finalised at ₹120,000 per sq ft on a super area basis, one of the highest in the country.
The current surge in luxury real estate prices in Gurugram and Delhi’s tony areas has brought prices of high-end apartments in Delhi’s southwestern suburb and bungalows in the capital’s Lutyens zone on a par with Mumbai’s prestigious neighbourhoods, with the per-sq-ft price crossing ₹120,000 sq ft.
About 15% of property owners at The Camellias have upgraded from ‘The Magnolias’ and ‘The Aralias’ – two other projects of DLF in Gurugram.
The majority of buyers in the Camellias are from Delhi-National Capitla Region. Some prominent names who are property owners in the project include Aman Gupta, founder of BoAt; JC Chaudhry, founder of Aakash Educational Services; and Elan Group, a real estate firm.
Many other startup founders have reportedly bought apartments in the same complex.
