Indore district administration, with help of Madhya Pradesh Public Assets Management Department, is expecting to generate at least Rs 350 Crores of revenue by selling as many as three state government-owned properties of different departments, which are either lying vacant or are of no use for them
According to senior administrative officials, as many as three properties owned by different departments of the MP Government, have been listed on MP Public Assets Management Department’s portal for auction.
“These properties including around 8 acres land of revenue department situated in Gadrakhedi village opposite to New GDC on Kila Maidan Road, around 3 lakh square feet land situated near Patnipura Square and around one-acre land situated in Pipliyahana near Hotel Essentia” ADM Pawan Jain said.
He added that expected revenue of these three properties that will be put on the auction are expected to be around Rs 350 Crore. “These three properties have been listed on a portal while the auction of the same by inviting online bidding is expected in next one week” he said.
The ADM added that two lands are lying vacant while out of around 14 acres of land situated in Gadrakhedi village, around 5 acres of land will be given to Indore Municipal Corporation to demolish an old structure of the government-run school situated there and develop a new building of it along with developing flats under PM Awas Yojana.
“There is a building of Mandi Board of this land that was constructed around five years ago at the cost of around Rs 3 Crore. The same is likely to be shifted near Laxmi Nagar Anaj Mandi ” he said.
