The Haryana government has declared the recommencement of land acquisition aimed at expanding industrial infrastructure in Ambala Cantonment, with intentions to acquire approximately 2,600 acres adjacent to the Saha Industrial Area.
State Energy and Transport Minister Anil Vij has confirmed that the newly acquired land will accommodate an Industrial Area and Logistic Park, complemented by a nearby Railway freight terminal. This integrated project is designed to improve regional infrastructure, foster industrial development, and create thousands of direct and indirect job opportunities.
The Minister has instructed the Ambala Deputy Commissioner to hasten the acquisition process. Several farmers have already shown their willingness to offer their land via the e-Bhoomi portal.
Officials have emphasized that the collaboration between the proposed industrial zone, logistic park, and freight terminal will optimize production, transportation, and export activities. By accelerating industrial operations and providing comprehensive facilities, the project is anticipated to significantly contribute to Haryana’s economic advancement.
