GHMC to offer 5% rebate on property tax for those who pay before Apr30

In an early bird scheme for property owners in Greater Hyderabad and periphery, a 5% rebate would be given to those who pay the tax for the current financial year before April 30.

This was announced by GHMC commissioner Lokesh Kumar on Monday. According to an official release issued by the GHMC commissioner, the scheme is applicable for the current financial and not for arrears accumulating from previous years.

GHMC officials have already sent rebate information to property owners with a web link.

“They can avail this offer either by paying via the web link or pay the tax by visiting the nearest GHMC citizen service centre,” said a senior GHMC official.
