EPACK Prefab, a turnkey solution provider for pre-engineered buildings (PEB) and prefabricated modular structures, announced on Monday that it is raising $20 million in its first funding round from GEF Capital Partners. According to a press release, the investment underscores EPACK Prefab’s commitment to sustainability in the modular construction sector.
“We are thrilled to have the support of a global climate fund as we continue to lead the transition toward sustainable construction practices through prefabricated and PEB solutions. This funding empowers us to invest further in cutting-edge technologies and expand our footprint while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability,” said Nikhel Bothra, Executive Director of EPACK Prefab.The company’s advanced facilities in Greater Noida, Ghiloth (Rajasthan), and Mambattu (Andhra Pradesh) currently have a combined production capacity of more than 133,924 metric tonnes annually. This infusion of capital is expected to further increase these capacities.
Usage of funds
The raised funds will be used for capital expenditure (capex) expansion and to drive growth initiatives, including:
- Enhancing production capabilities.
- Accelerating the development of new products.
- Expanding the company’s presence across the country.
Additionally, a portion of the funds will be directed toward bolstering research and development initiatives aimed at creating energy-efficient, prefabricated construction technologies.
