Doosan Infracore announced that it has signed contracts to sell a total of 221 units of construction equipment to customers in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America since the beginning of 2021. Doosan Infracore has received an order for a total of 50 excavators, including 30 units of the DX340L model and 20 units of the DX480LC model, from a construction company in Hong Kong. A mining development and civil engineering company in Thailand has ordered a total of 38 excavators and wheelers, while a local dairy company in Vietnam placed an order for 20 mini excavators.
Doosan Infracore landed an order for a total of 27 excavators and wheelers from a mining company of Oman in the Middle East on Jan. 25. It also signed a contract to supply 35 excavators to a large construction company in Qatar in December 2020 and 54 excavators to a Turkish equipment lease company in October of the same year. In September 2020, the company also won an order for 10 50-ton excavators from a Saudi Arabia-based construction company.
On Jan. 23, an order for a total of 35 excavators and wheelers was awarded by a large construction company in Morocco, which is actively engaged in business in northern and western Africa and one of the main customers that owns more than 300 pieces of Doosan Infracore equipment. In Egypt, 35 wheelers were ordered for various agricultural projects led by government departments. The relevant government department currently owns more than 100 pieces of Doosan Infracore construction equipment. Doosan Infracore also won an order for 20 excavators to be used in gold mines from a Ghana-based mining company in December last year.
