Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL) has successfully emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for two major infrastructure projects in Gujarat, amounting to Rs 1,370.02 crore. Both tenders were issued by the Narmada Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpasar Department of the Government of Gujarat.

The first project, estimated at Rs 702.00 crore, and the second, at Rs 668.02 crore, both pertain to the construction of flood protection embankments along the Narmada River in the Bharuch district. These domestic contracts signify a considerable enhancement to the company’s Order Book in the state’s water resource management sector.

Both projects will be carried out on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, adhering to a stringent completion timeline of 24 months each. The work scope is centered on improving the river’s infrastructure to reduce flood risks, which is a vital necessity for the Bharuch region.

As these are standard domestic government contracts awarded through a competitive bidding process, the quoted amounts do not include GST. This dual success highlights DBL’s competitive edge in large-scale civil engineering and embankment projects.
