Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has sold two adjacent luxury apartments totaling 3,640 sq ft in a high-rise residential tower located in Goregaon, a western suburb of Mumbai, for an overall price of Rs 12 crore. Both apartments are situated on the 47th floor of the building, each measuring 1,820 sq ft. The first sale was registered on October 31 for Rs 6 crore, while the second was completed on Saturday for the same amount.
The transactions incurred a total stamp duty of Rs 60 lakh. The sales were conducted separately with distinct buyers, as indicated by documents obtained from the realty data analytics platform CRE Matrix.
Each agreement includes two designated car parking spaces. The sale contributes to a series of recent high-value property transactions in Mumbai involving assets owned by film personalities.
Bachchan and his family possess numerous real estate properties throughout the city, including residential holdings in Juhu and other prestigious areas. In recent months, several significant transactions have been documented in the city’s premium housing sector, demonstrating ongoing activity among high-net-worth individuals and professionals from both the film and business communities.
