On Tuesday, the property tax department of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) sealed a total of 1,795 properties belonging to defaulters.
In the South-West Zone, 189 properties were sealed while proceedings to seize 15 properties were initiated.
Additionally, final notices were issued to 432 property owners and Rs 74.83 lakh was generated.
In the East Zone, 1,606 properties were sealed and Rs 73.13 lakh was recovered.
