Zydus Family Trust has bought an apartment in Oberoi Realty’s luxury housing project in Worli, Mumbai, for Rs 200 crore,as reported by IndexTap.com.The apartment spans 17,384 square feet, with a price of Rs 1.15 lakh per square foot. IndexTap(dot)com, a data-driven home buying platform, has reviewed the registration documents. The apartment in Oberoi Realty’s project ‘Oberoi 360 West’ was registered on March 27.
The seller is Mumbai-based Oberoi Realty — one of the largest real estate developers in the country.There has been a notable increase in demand for luxury and ultra-luxury housing following the Covid pandemic.
Zydus Family Trust serves as the promoter for two publicly traded pharmaceutical and health companies, namely Zydus Lifesciences and Zydus Wellness. The board of trustees comprises Pankaj R Patel, Chairman of the Zydus Group, along with Pritiben P Patel and Sharvil P Patel.
