XSIO Logistics Parks has revealed its intention to establish India’s inaugural smart logistics park in Nagpur, backed by an investment of Rs 2,000 crore. The firm has previously allocated over Rs 400 crore to its current logistics park situated at Wadhgaon, which is in proximity to the Samruddhi Expressway.
The upcoming facility will boast an artificial intelligence-driven system designed to track carbon emissions, enhance sewage treatment processes, and implement environmentally sustainable practices. XSIO is currently engaging with prominent IT companies to create this system, with objectives that include predictive analytics, scenario modeling, and the automation of traffic flow and vehicle movement through AI technology.
Transforming the Wadhgaon facility into a smart park is projected to necessitate an investment of Rs five crore for each unit.
Additionally, XSIO’s growth strategy encompasses the second phase of development in Wadhgaon, as well as the establishment of a new logistics park along Amravati Road, an industrial park in Butibori, and an urban logistics park in Wardhaman Nagar.
