Vikram Solar, a prominent manufacturer of solar PV modules in India, has received an order from L&T Construction to provide 336 MW of its cutting-edge Hypersol G12R modules for installation at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park located in Gujarat. The Hypersol G12R modules utilize N-type technology, which offers improved bifaciality of up to 80 percent, excellent performance in high temperatures, and minimal annual degradation (ā¤0.4%).
These technological benefits enhance the efficiency of the balance-of-system (BOS), ultimately reducing the levelised cost of energy (LCOE). By making solar energy more affordable, these modules play a significant role in increasing access to clean energy in India.
This order further builds on Vikram Solarās previous contributions in Khavda and underscores its continuous commitment to facilitating Indiaās energy transition through innovation, scalable capacity, and dependable execution.
Large-scale renewable initiatives such as Khavda not only bolster Indiaās green energy objectives but also establish the country as a global leader in solar capacity deployment.
