Ranchi Smart City has made its mark at the national level by receiving a honour for its innovative use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in urban development. The award was presented by the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) and Excellence India during the 10th Smart Cities India Expo at Convergence India, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from March 19 to Friday.
The Government of India had invited nominations from all smart cities across the country under various categories, including AI applications in city management. Ranchi Smart City submitted its nomination under four categories and received recognition in the AI-based services category.
