On Friday, the AMC’s property tax department sealed 6,775 properties including several shops for defaulting on property tax.The most sealed properties, 3,111, are in areas in the civic body’s East Zone.The AMC also demolished seven illegal structures in the Lambha area.
The AMC on Friday sealed 13 construction sites in the Jodhpur, Bodakdev, Chandlodia and Sarkhej areas for violation of pollution control rules.Two construction sites, in Bopal and Bodakdev, were fined a total of Rs 35,000 for not putting up green netting and other violations of pollution control rules.
