Orient Cement has reported a dip of 0.86 per cent in its net profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2024. Its profit after tax stood at Rs 36.71 crore in Q1 FY25 as against Rs 37.03 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company’s net total income stood at Rs 702.38 crore in Q1 FY25, a dip of 15.34 per cent from Rs 829.60 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.
The board of directors approved the appointment of Kartick Maheshwari as an independent director, for a term of five consecutive years with effect from August 9, 2024, till August 8, 2029.
