The new retiring room facility by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) at Ahmedabad Junction provides 3-star hotel facilities and comfort to railway passengers. The facility, which is available for 24 hours a day, includes deluxe rooms as well as family rooms to accommodate travelling families.
The newly opened retiring rooms at Ahmedabad Junction railway station have been equipped with various passenger-friendly features. Some of the facilities and amenities include comfortable beds, tables, chairs, fans, television set, AC, etc. Passengers who wish to avail the facility of retiring rooms at Ahmedabad Junction can do the bookings online through the official IRCTC website
The tariff details for the IRCTC retiring room facility at Ahmedabad Junction, shared by the Western Railway zone are as follows:
- Suite Room: This facility is available at a cost of Rs 1,500 for 6 hours, Rs 2,200 for 12 hours, Rs 3,000 for 24 hours and Rs 5,000 for 48 hours.
- AC Family Deluxe Room (4 bedded): The AC Family Deluxe Room is available at a cost of Rs 1,800 for 6 hours, Rs 2,400 for 12 hours, Rs 3,000 for 24 hours and Rs 5000 for 48 hours.
- AC Deluxe Room (Double Occupancy): The facility is available at a cost of Rs 1,200 for 6 hours, Rs 1,800 for 12 hours, Rs 2,400 for 24 hours and Rs 4,000 for 48 hours. Also, an extra bed in AC Deluxe Double Room is available at an additional charge of Rs 500.
- AC Deluxe Room (Single Occupancy): The facility is available at a cost of Rs 1,000 for 6 hours, Rs 1,600 for 12 hours, Rs 2,200 for 24 hours Rs 3,600 for 48 hours.
- Dormitory: The Dormitory is available at a cost of Rs 500 for 6 hours, Rs 800 for 12 hours, Rs 1,200 for 24 hours and Rs 2,000 for 48 hours.
