The upset price for one square yard of land has been reduced from ₹10,000 to ₹7,000 in the auction for plots at Srivalli township in Nalgonda district.
The decision was taken on the advice of the government after three pre-bid meetings.
Collector Prashant Patil said a large number of bidders had shown interest in the auction of the plots which will take place from March 14-17.
Srivalli township is located on the Narkatpalli-Addanki highway falling under the limits of Ellareddyguda gram panchayat in Narkatepalli mandal. There are a total of 240 plots of different sizes from 267 sq yards to 150 square yards.
The district administration will provide all amenities in the layout including blacktopping of internal roads, electricity, street light, drinking water, sewerage system and avenue plantation. The layout is as per DTPC regulations.
