Mahindra Lifespace Developers posts Rs 7.51 crore net loss in Q2 FY23

Mahindra Lifespaces' net consolidated income stood at Rs 73.82 crore in Q2 FY23, a growth of 12.36 per cent from Rs 65.70 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers (MLDL), the real estate and infrastructure business of Mahindra Group, has reported net consolidated loss after tax of Rs 7.51 crore during the quarter ended September 30, 2022. It had registered profit after tax of Rs 13.23 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.

The company’s net consolidated income stood at Rs 73.82 crore in Q2 FY23, a growth of 12.36 per cent from Rs 65.70 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.

Arvind Subramanian, MD and CEO of the company said, “In what is seasonally a weak quarter of residential real estate, Mahindra Lifespaces garnered Rs 399 crore of pre-sales taking us over Rs 1,000 crore of residential sales for the first half of the fiscal.

The board of directors approved the appointment of Anuj Puri as an additional director in the category of non-executive independent director of the company.
