KNR Constructions Limited has formally obtained a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for the construction of a major four-lane elevated corridor along the East Coast Road (ECR) in Tamil Nadu.

This project stretches from Thiruvanmiyur to Uthandi (SH-49) and encompasses a design chainage from Km 11+480 to Km 24+780. With a valuation of Rs 2,163.07 crore, the development will be carried out under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).

This vital infrastructure initiative is intended to reduce traffic congestion on one of the region’s most essential arterial routes, linking significant urban areas to the coastal highway. The project timeline outlines a construction duration of 1095 days, followed by an operational phase of five years commencing from the Commercial Operation Date (COD).

In accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, the company has informed the exchanges regarding this development. It is crucial to highlight that the official signing of the Concession Agreement is presently dependent on the legal resolution of W.A. No. 284 of 2026 in the Madras High Court.
