KK Rajeev Nambiar resigns as CEO of Shree Digvijay Cement Company

The board also approved appointment of Ramanujan Krishnakumar, currently working as senior vice president (Manufacturing), as an additional director, CEO & MD of Shree Digvijay Cement Company.

 The board of directors of Shree Digvijay Cement Company approved the resignation of KK Rajeev Nambiar as director, chief executive officer (CEO) & managing director (MD) of the company with effect from December 15, 2023.Nambiar was re-appointed as the CEO & MD of the company for a period of three years upto July 31, 2024, but due to his personal reasons he sought an early retirement, which was accepted by the board.

The board also approved appointment of Ramanujan Krishnakumar, currently working as senior vice president (Manufacturing), as an additional director, CEO & MD of the company, for a period of five years, effective December 16, 2023. Krishnakumar joined Shree Digvijay Cement in 2015 from ACC, where he was heading the engineering department.

The company’s licensed capacity stands at 3 million tons per annum. It reported profit after tax of Rs 7.39 crore during the quarter ended September 30, 2023, up by 24 per cent year-on-year. Its revenue from operations increased by 13 per cent year-on-year and stood at Rs 183.39 crore.
