K2 Infragen Limited, a rapidly growing player in India’s infrastructure and EPC sectors, has secured a solar EPC contract, including the supply of BOS material, for a 67.61 MW DC project in Gujarat. This project is part of the 450 MWp solar development by Coal India Limited in Khavda, Gujarat. The contract was awarded by KPI Green Energy Limited.
With this contract, K2 Infragen’s total order book under execution now stands at INR 578.54 crores, further expanding its presence in the power infrastructure sector. The company has been steadily growing in the renewable energy space, securing large-scale projects that align with its broader vision of strengthening its footprint in power transmission, distribution, and clean energy solutions.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Vineet Sharma, Vice President – Business Strategy & Corporate Affairs at K2 Infragen, stated, “This order in the Solar EPC space displays the potential and intent of the organization to operate at scale in all the domains of infrastructure. We have already mentioned earlier that K2 Infragen targets to be an aggressive player in Power Transmission & Distribution along with Renewable Energy verticals.”
He further added, “While the scheduled completion is set for June/July’ 25, we expect to complete the installation & commissioning of this project within H1 25-26. The company also continues to secure significant contracts of NHAI while diversifying into the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Railways sectors. We have developed in-house expertise across design, procurement, and construction supervision, delivering comprehensive EPC solutions spanning renewable energy, roads, railways, water supply, and civil construction.”
