JK Lakshmi Cement has reported net consolidated loss after tax of Rs 19.24 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2024. It had registered profit after tax of Rs 95.87 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company’s net consolidated total income stood at Rs 1,242.67 crore in Q2 FY25, a dip of 21.77 per cent from Rs 1,588.51 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.
Vinita Singhania, chairperson & managing director of the company said, “the profitability of the company for the quarter has been impacted due to sharp drop in sales realization in our primary markets.”The company’s board had approved the composite scheme of arrangement which provides for the merger of its subsidiaries viz Udaipur Cement Works (UCWL), Hansdeep Industries & Trading Company and Hidrive Developers & Industries into itself.
