JK Cement has reported a dip of 29.43 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2023. Its profit after tax stood at Rs 113.46 crore in Q1 FY24 as against Rs 160.79 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company’s net consolidated total income stood at Rs 2,794.22 crore in Q1 FY24, a growth of 22.16 per cent from Rs 2,287.30 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.
The scheme of amalgamation of Jaykay Cem (Central) with J.K. Cement was approved by the NCLT on 20 July 2023, it said in the regulatory filing.
AdvtAs on June 30, 2023, the company’s net worth stood at Rs 4,755.33 crore, debt-equity ratio was 1.04, current liability ratio was 0.32, total debts to total assets was 0.36, operating margin was 14.22% and net profit margin was 4.02%.
