Revenue and water supply and sanitation minister Bram Shankar Sharma on Monday said that all issues regarding NOC of purchase and sale of property will be solved soon.
Blaming the previous governments for formulating wrong policies regarding property that also landed people in trouble for a long time, the minister said that Punjab Government was now working on war footing in a transparent manner to address problems of the people in this regard.
He also said that the maps of properties that fall within the red line will be passed and a survey is under process by the revenue department.
Bram Shankar who was here in Ropar to preside over a meeting at District Administrative Complex to review all the ongoing development works, projects, on Monday had also issued instructions to provide welfare schemes at grass roots level.
“After the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) came to power in Punjab, districts have been assigned to every minister with an aim to implement all schemes and programmes. With the joint efforts of MLAs and district administration all the development works and targets will be achieved in stipulated time. Our government has eradicated corruption from the tehsils in a very short period of time and no one will be spared if found indulging in such practices. Reforms are underway in the Revenue Department to provide seamless services to the people of the state in a transparent manner,” said minister Bram Shankar.
“Special efforts are being made for water drainage arrangements, sewerage, and water treatment of factories. The steps are being taken to stop waste water being thrown into the rivers and no deficiency will be left in the conservation of water and water resources. In order to meet the shortage of Patwaris, the training session of newly recruited Patwaris has been reduced to one year,” he added.
