INTELLilight systems installation on 270-tonne trucks by Belaz

TYRI has signed the first major deal for their new intelligent lighting system TYRI INTELLilight, with Belaz, a world-leading manufacturer of dump trucks. Belaz has placed an order for 100 TYRI INTELLilight systems to be installed on its 270-tonne trucks. Delivery will begin at the end of this year.

This deal is the first major implementation for TYRI’s new lighting system TYRI INTELLilight, which was launched earlier this year. The system was thoroughly tested by BELAZ over the period of a year before the contract was agreed. Belaz’s requirements included the integration of the lighting system with BELAZ’s CANBUS system to be controlled from the machine’s own interface. In addition, there was a precise requirement for the lighting to have the ability to easily adjust brightness and colour temperature, as well as automatic dimming functionality.

Belaz is known for manufacturing mine dump trucks used in the most difficult challenges and the toughest environments.  By choosing TYRI INTELLilight, it is a very clear recognition that our new lighting system can withstand the toughest tests. Belaz tested our products to ensure that they would meet the needs of the end customer’s. Therefore, it is extra special that this has become our first big deal with TYRI INTELLilight, says Anders Wärnman, sales manager at TYRI Sweden.

Manufacture of the TYRI INTELLilight systems has already begun with planned delivery in late 2020 and into 2021.

– We see a large interest in TYRI INTELLilight in the market, and we have a large number of systems being tested with many of the world’s largest manufacturers of work machines. We predict that 2021 will be a successful year for our new intelligent lighting system TYRI INTELLilight, concludes Anders Wärnman.

TYRI INTELLilight is an intelligent system where each lamp has a built-in transmitter and receiver. All lamps are then connected via a wireless Mesh network. It creates a great deal of flexibility and reliability.
