HD Hyundai CE India Launches New Excavators, Forklifts & Wheel loaders

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment announced the launch of multiple equipment that includes 4 excavator models, 2 forklift models and 2 wheel loaders for the Indian market.

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment India has made a significant announcement by introducing a range of new equipments aimed at serving the infrastructure, mining, and material handling sectors. The company, in its official statement, has revealed a comprehensive lineup comprising four distinct excavator models, along with two forklift models and two wheel loaders. These additions to their equipment portfolio are a testament to their commitment to delivering innovative solutions for these industries.

A Focus on Heavy-Duty Mining: Global HX Series 50-Tonne Class Excavator

One of the highlights of this equipment launch is the introduction of the new generation of the Global HX Series 50-tonne class excavator. This excavator is specifically designed for heavy-duty mining applications, making it a valuable addition to the equipment fleet for such operations. With its robust features and capabilities, it is set to meet the demanding requirements of the mining sector.

SMART Plus Series for Infrastructure: Excavators in Various Segments

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment India is expanding its offerings in the infrastructure sector with the SMART Plus series of excavators. This series includes three new models, each tailored to serve different payload requirements. The models include 8-tonne, 14-tonne, and 15-tonne excavators, providing versatile options for infrastructure projects.

Enhanced Capabilities for Infrastructure and Mining: Wheeled Loaders

The company is addressing the needs of both infrastructure and mining segments with the launch of two new wheeled loader models. These loaders are designed to handle payloads of 3 tonnes and 5 tonnes, offering an efficient and reliable solution for material handling in these sectors.

Elevating Material Handling: Electric Forklift Models

In response to the evolving demands of the material handling industry, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment India has unveiled two new electric forklift models. These forklifts come with payloads of 2.5 tonnes and 3.0 tonnes, providing effective and environmentally friendly solutions for material handling operations.

The Managing Director of HD Hyundai CE India, Park Jin Seog, expressed, “The new equipment launch demonstrates Hyundai India’s commitment to serve India and the global market with innovative solutions.” This reaffirms the company’s dedication to delivering advanced equipment solutions to meet the diverse needs of both Indian and global markets.

Rajiv Chaturvedi, Vice President at Hyundai, emphasized that the new generation of equipments was developed with a strong focus on customer feedback. “These new equipments will offer fantastic economics of operation combined with superior technology and features to delight all our customers and further strengthen Hyundai brand image,“ he added.

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment India’s Journey

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment India, a subsidiary of Hyundai Construction Equipment South Korea, commenced its operations in 2007. The company marked its presence in the Indian market by producing its first machine in 2008 at the Chakan Factory. Over the years, Hyundai Construction Equipment India has grown to become the second-largest player in the domestic market, with a substantial record of selling over 45,000 excavators. Furthermore, the company has extended its reach to international markets, exporting its equipments to around 37 countries in the SAARC, MEA, and Asia regions. Additionally, Hyundai Construction Equipment India imports mini excavators and material handling equipment from South Korea to cater to the specific needs of the Indian market.
