The incentives offered comprise a reimbursement of 10-15 percent of qualifying fixed capital investment, limited to Rs 50 lakh per unit, along with a 50 percent interest subsidy for a period of 3-5 years, not exceeding Rs 25 lakh per annum.
Furthermore, the government will extend a 100 percent reimbursement of stamp duty and registration fees, capped at Rs 10 lakh, in addition to electricity duty reimbursement for cold chain facilities, limited to Rs five lakh each year.
Moreover, qualifying entities will be granted Rs 5,000 for each Goan worker as a skill development subsidy, applicable to a maximum of 1,000 workers annually. To qualify for full benefits, employment must consist of at least 60 percent Goan workforce.
